Adbloc Travelling Office

If you love “Footie” and its upcoming quadrennial celebration in Brasil there’s no better city than Toronto to be a fan. Little Italy, the Danforth, Koreatown, your local pub – or another locale – there is a cultural or social hotspot for every game and every fan where the suds are flowing and supporters urging their team on.

The bad thing about the matches for our business is, undoubtedly, many dubious excuses will soon be used to explain away “convenient” absences during key matches. As they say, “if you can’t beat them – join them”, so Adbloc Media is embracing Brasil 2014 by way of the Adbloc Travelling Office.

What is the Adbloc Travelling Office? It’s a compact mobile-office infrastructure that allows us to do anything from a café, pub or bar that we can do at our bricks and mortar office; communicate, compute, surf, research, print, scan, plan, meet, strategize, service and sell. We have created an extensive travelling-office platform that allows our team to carry on business-as-usual remotely whether it’s the Azzurri, the Aussies, Iran, Japan or Schweinsteiger and his German mates competing.

Adbloc Travelling Office will be headquartered at Bier Markt on King Street West at Portland. However, true to its name, we will also travel to other select venues, for key matchups, where raucous partisan support will kick-up the Adbloc Travelling Office experience a notch or two.

And, we’re inviting media planners to join us for a “boot” of beer and some great food.
