Danone Loves Skiing’s Healthy Outdoor Lifestyle

Toronto (Canada)      Adbloc Media is pleased to announce Danone Canada Inc. as our newest advertising partner.

Danone has committed to a national Adbloc campaign that will give the #1 worldwide leader in fresh dairy products a significant presence for its popular DanActive brand at 11 prominent ski areas including Mont Tremblant (QC), Mt. St. Louis Moonstone (ON), Mt. Norquay (AB) and Sun Peaks Resort (BC).

Adbloc is a unique media that will strategically place DanActive’s message on the safety bar of ski chairlifts, literally in-the-face of an affluent, active, health-conscious – and absolutely captive – consumer for 7 minutes.

Peter Machalek, Senior Partner at Adbloc Media, noted, “Skiers and snowboarders across our network will spend more than 11 million minutes sharing the chair with DanActive’s message”. Machalek added, “Adbloc is unavoidable. Skiers are held captive in the chair by a 1” steel bar and a 40 foot drop. Adbloc has no off button. What else will the skier do for 7 minutes?”
